Der Zoo in Landau * The Zoo in Landau
Heute ging es für eine Fototour in den Zoo nach Landau. Und obwohl das Wetter alles andere als schön war - es war ziemlich kalt, bewölkt und es nieselte sogar ab und zu - stellte sich heraus, dass der Zoo sehr interessant war.
Ich habe mich direkt in die Sibirischen Tiger verliebt. Majestätisch und riesengroß, bewegen sie sich doch mit dieser speziellen Grazie, die alle Katzen gemeinsam haben - ob groß oder klein.
Today I went for a photo hunt to that zoo in Landau that I had heard about. And even though the day was pretty cold and overcast and sometimes there was even a little drizzle included in the mix, it turned out that the place was quite interesting.
I fell in love with the Siberian tigers right away. Majestic and huge they still move with that special grace that all cats have, be they big or small.
Es gab dann auch noch diese mutige, und sehr bedauernswerte Ratte, die ihr schnelles Ende fand, nachdem der Tiger sie erblickt hatte. * There was a brave, yet unfortunate rat, that met its quick demise once the tiger spotted it while I was watching the tigers.
Auf dem Weg durch den Zoo traf ich auch einige Vögel. * Following the paths I came across quite a few birds on my way.
Die kleinen Dinge, an denen man normalerweise achtlos vorbeiläuft, können auch sehr interessant sein. * The little things that one usually passes without seeing them can be quite interesting, too.
Die Seelöwen waren sehr verspielt und lieferten dem Publikum eine richtige Show, mit Rennen durch den Pool und "Gesang" auf dem Steg. ' The seals were very playful and offered their audience quite the show by chasing each other through their pool or "singing" on the deck.
Im Affenhaus war der süßeste kleine Affe, den ihr euch vorstellen könnt. Aber wie jedes Kind, wollte er nicht immer auf seine Mutter hören. Das endete damit, dass Mama Affe den Kleinen packte und waagrecht vor sich hielt, damit sie das Lausen in Ruhe beenden konnte. * In the monkey house there was the cutest baby monkey you can imagine - but like any kid, he did not always want to comply with his mother's wishes. This ended up with mommy monkey picking him up and holding him in front of her horizontally, so she could finish grooming him in peace.
